At The Big Happiness Experiment we are passionate about providing well-being courses and happiness workshops directly to local communities. Our founder; Jules Mitchell was commissioned by the NHS back in 2006 to develop a range of services to impact on the well-being of local communities and these courses were a huge success. They were aimed at individuals who were off work due to long term illness, those suffering with anxiety and depression and those with low self esteem and lack of confidence. Because of the success of these programmes they were then rolled out to other local authorities throughout the UK.

In March 2016 we made the decision to form a Community Interest Company in order that we could offer similar programmes directly to local communities which could be funded by local grants and charitable donations. We have also worked alongside other community interest companies on joint venture projects delivering much needed courses to those people who would not normally be able to access these types of courses.

We have a range of services that we offer in the community from 90 minute talks to 6 week courses. These can be delivered to existing community organisations and charities who employ us directly or we will initiate a project ourselves and arrange funding by way of grants or donations.

A Community 'Finding Happy' Workshop

Our ‘Finding Happy’ talks, workshops and courses have been designed to offer local community organisations or charities an innovative way of enhancing the well being of their service users. These different programmes help with confidence and self esteem and also build inner strengths of resilience and emotional intelligence; ultimately helping participants to find their happy! We are also committed to sharing our BrainTech™ system and the Dfe’s ‘Five Ways To Wellbeing’ as part of all our programmes.
