A unique series of books supporting the mental and emotional health of children and parents

In September 2017 The Big Happiness Experiment was commissioned by the RAF Benevolent Fund to write a series of books specifically for the families of serving RAF personnel and these were launched in April 2018. These unique books offer a wellbeing service, aimed specifically at the youngest members of the RAF Family. The Cloud Nine book series will teach children, and their parents, good mental health habits and techniques for dealing with the stresses of growing up in a military family. The books were first launched at RAF Benson, where children met two of the series characters, Raphael the Unicorn and the Fund’s own Ben Elephant. Read more the RAF’s report here.
